Alexandra L. Wisotsky is the managing attorney for the Asylum Program in the Washington, DC office. Prior to joining Human Rights First, Alexandra was a staff attorney at Ayuda, Inc., where she represented immigrant and refugee clients in all facets of immigration law. Alexandra also served as a staff attorney at the Gay Men's Health Crisis, Inc., in New York City, where she represented immigrants with HIV. Alexandra graduated cum laude from the Washington College of Law, American University, and went on to graduate with distinction from the University of Essex, in England, with an LL.M. in international human rights law. Alexandra received an M.A. from the School of International Service, American University, in international law and relations, and a B.A. from Oberlin College (government/international relations). Alexandra is fluent in Spanish, and conversant in French.
